Variable Anaglyph

  • The right and left images can be adjusted horizontally, vertically (in prism diopters,) and torsionally (in degrees.)
  • You can set the starting points for the activity as well as the maximum range limits.
  • Adjust the size of the images
  • Make one image flash a bit to help break suppression.
  • Make the anaglyph move circularly around the screen, or even spin in place.
  • Upload your own custom images.
  • Share your anaglyphs with others.

Web Browser

  • Should be especially useful for amblyopes
  • Make visible to both eyes, left eye, right eye, or shift back and forth between right and left
  • The web browser uses the same rendering engine as Google Chrome and Apple Safari.
  • It will make use of Adobe’s Flash plug-in if it is already installed on the computer

Multiple Choice Anaglyph

  • Work on convergence, divergence, and jumping vergence (alternating between converging and diverging,) and image size (work from large to small to build stereo)
  • Adjust the size of the images
  • You can set the horizontal, vertical, and torsional starting points for the activity as well as the maximum horizontal ranges
  • Keep track of breaks and recoveries
  • Upload your own custom images and share them with others.

Presentation

  • Present either lists of text (words, numbers) or images (which you can create yourself.)
  • Set the timing of the presentation (for setting up things like tachistoscopes)
  • Option of giving multiple choice answers, which can be shown during or after the presentation
  • Set the image size or text Snellen size
  • Set the visibility to be both eyes, right eye, or left eye (with red/green glasses)
  • Set the presentation move circularly around the screen, or spin in place.
  • Create and share with others.

Reading

  • Choose stories in the system or cut and paste your own.
  • Adjust the Snellen size of the letters
  • Adjust the width of the story
  • Make visible to both eyes, left eye, right eye, alternate, flash for one eye,  or shift back and forth between right and left.
  • Keep track of reading speed in words per minute
  • Disappearing text:  The text disappears at a given speed (similar to the “moving window,” helps to train reading with minimal regressions.)
  • Share your story collections with others

Letter Tracking

  • There are 2 types of letter tracking that can be done
    • The computerized version
    • Generating it for printing on paper
  • Adjust the Snellen size of the letters
  • Adjust width of the paragraph
  • Make visible to both eyes, left eye, right eye, or shift back and forth between right and left
  • Keep track of time it takes to complete
  • Keep track of number of misses
  • For the paper version you can specify how many pages you want to generate

Symbol Charts

  • Various charts to choose from
    • Random letters
    • Arrows
    • Tumbling “E”
    • Columns of random letters (similar to alphabet pencils, spaced narrow to wide)
    • Symbols for mirroring laterality/directionality (easy, medium, hard)
    • Phonetic focus
    • Hart chart
  • Adjust the Snellen size of the letters
  • Specify near or far working distance (Snellen size will automatically compensate for this)
  • Adjust number of columns and rows
  • Make visible to both eyes, left eye, right eye, alternate, flash for one eye,  or shift back and forth between right and left
  • Make the chart move circularly around the screen, or spin in place.
